n 1957 the Aurora Inn opened. This new opening happened alongside the famous Festival dei Due Mondi brought to life by Maestro Menotti. The hotel’s building can be found within the old Roman walls that were part of a XII-century ex Franciscan convent where the consecrated Egidio, a friend of Saint Francis, stayed.
