The project
In the 1980s, the brand embraced punk influences with pieces made from painted metal and rubber. Its style later absorbed Jean Paul Gaultier and the New Romantic movement: Radà's mink tails appeared in Harper's Bazaar, while fur pompoms and wicker bangles became cult pieces. Following its exhibition at the Hippodrome in Paris, Radà became BSR and expanded internationally, particularly in Japan, where its distinctive treatment of pearls attracted attention: combined with crystals and chains, freed from their classical structure and reworked in a modern, unusual and unique way.
